Application is invited for the following Permanent post in the office of Maharashtra Nursing Council,
Mumbai

Recruitment for the post of “Registrar”
Pay band S-23-67700-208700 (Monthly Salary 1,11,997/-)
Entitled to D. A. and other allowances as admissible to the employees of Government of
Maharashtra, NPS and medical benefit.
The recruitment/appointment of the said permanent post is being done subject to the
prior/post approval of the Govt.
The Registrar appointed under the Act shall be deemed to be a public servant within the
meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.

Recruitment Rules:
Registrar Post Recruitment Maharashtra Nursing Council Rules, 1971
(As modified upto the 1st June, 1993) Rule 95
Rule 95- (1) The post of Registrar shall be permanent. The Registrar shall be a full time officer of the Council and shall not do any other work except with the permission of the Council. Any person, on his first appointment to a clear vacancy in the office of the Registrar.
- The Registrar shall draw pay in the scale of S-23 Pay 67700-208700/- ( Monthly Salary 1,11,997/-) as per the Government Resolution RPS-2019/CR-1/SER-9 dated 30th January 2019. The Registrar shall be entitling to dearness allowance and other allowances as admissible to the employees of Government of Maharashtra in the corresponding grade and he shall also be entitling to get the revised pay scale of the corresponding grade in the State cadre, as revised from time to time.
Rule 103- (5) The appointment of post of Registrar shall be made either; –
- From amongst the candidates who are not more than forty years of age
and are post graduate in Nursing of any recognised university and possess at least seven years’ experience in teaching student nurses or in administration in Government or Semi Government or similar organisation;
- Provided this preference may be given to the candidates having exceptional qualifications and experience or
Qualification: –
- Holding a Sc. Degree in Nursing from the recognised University;
- Holding registration with Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai
- Having not less than Seven years’ experience in teaching and administration;
- Having not less than 35 years and not more than 40 years of age at the time of appointment;
- Having – (a) a published work in a nursing journal or a health related magazine to his credit;
- adequate experience in planning, conducting and writing in nursing projects or research reports;
- adequate knowledge of law;
- proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in Marathi
